Local first year teachers are in luck

Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce will arrange about 20 welcome bags for new teachers in the Atlanta, Bloomburg, Queen City and McLeod school districts. “We will be assembling about 20 Goody Bags to donate to area teachers who are getting ready for their first year in the classroom,” Miranda Johnson, chamber president said. “We appreciate all your help!” The chamber began accepting donations last week.
