The Linden Lions Club met Thursday, Aug. 1 for their weekly meeting. Chris Paddie, the Texas House of Representative for District 9 was the guest speaker. Paddie is on his way to seeking his 5th term in the Texas House.
The next scheduled meeting is Aug. 8 at the County Seat Restaurant.
Lions members are looking forward to community events including “Legends of Linden” which is scheduled for Aug. 10 at the patio located at the County Seat Restaurant. The Lions also will be participating in the LUMC prayer walk, which will begin at the L-K administration building on Aug. 11 at 6:45 p.m.
