Annie Lorene Kinney, 96, of Queen City, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, in an Atlanta nursing home.
She was born Nov. 14, 1921, in Doddridge, Ark., to Sam and Minnie Plum. She married Scott Thompson Kinney, April 19, 1936, and remained so until his death in 1994. She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church and a beloved employee of Beako Manufacturing for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Kinney; a daughter, Barbara Jean Berry; her parents; and her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice Lee and husband Melvin of Bossier City, La.; son, Albert “Chuck” Kinney of Bossier City; son-in-law, Bobby Joe Berry of Mesquite; son, Robert Kinney of Greenville; daughter, Teresa Bell and husband Don of Arlington; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and a number of nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Wallace officiating. Interment followed at Springdale Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
AGNES THERESA WOOD

Agnes Theresa Wood, 86, of Meridian, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Bedford Care in Marion, Miss.
She was the mother of 10 children, as well as a nurse for more than 45 years, where she was the director of nurses at several different hospitals and nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Albert Wood; son, Mike Wood and wife Pam; brothers, Pat Doherty, David Doherty and Thomas Doherty; and sister, Mary Alice Chappel.
Survivors include her children, Larry Wood and wife Becky, John Wood and wife Bonnie, Linda McConnell and husband Pat, Robert Wood, Tricia Mathews and husband Jeff, Mary Anderson and husband Shawn, Susan Savage and husband David, Chris Wood and wife Kim and Alan Wood and wife Stephanie; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There was no public visitation.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Meridian, Miss., with Father Matthew Simmons officiating. Interment followed at Mississippi Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Robert Barham Family Funeral Home.

SFC Raymond E. Harrington, U.S. Army (retired), 87 of Doddridge, Ark., left this world to be with his Lord Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018. He was a loving father and husband.
He was born Nov. 26, 1930, in Lufkin. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1967, as a Sergeant First Class after 21 years of service, including the Korean War. He also retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant. He was Chaplin at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5870 and an active member of Sandhill Assembly of God Church in Doddridge.
He was preceded in death by his father, James William Harrington; mother, Mattie Harrington Hall; his wife of 45 years, Ellen Harrington; great-grandchild, Zachary Lugger; brothers, Carson, James Brice, Woodrow, Weldon, Burl, Tommy and Harold Dean Harrington and Bert Brown; sisters, Irene, Frances, Christine, Hope, Joyce, Gladys, Ruth and Gertrude.
He is survived by his daughters, Gloria Landon and husband Gordon, Linda Rowe, Judy Thompson and husband Terry, Sandra Fyffe and husband Danny and Peggy Robey and husband Jeff; son, James E. Harrington and wife Jeanne; grandchildren, Debbie Lugger and husband Scott, LTC David Landon and wife Amber, Hunter Harrington and wife Ruth, Myranda Rowe, Ann E. Harrington, Forrest Harrington and wife Amanda, Wyatt Fyffe and Seth Fyffe; great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Trevor Lugger, Meela and Nyssa Landon and Finlee, Rae and Reed Harrington; and brother, Wade Hall Jr. and wife Doris.
The family will received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at Hanner Funeral Service.
A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Doddridge. Interment will follow under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Rosemary Mote, 54, of Dallas, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at her residence.
She was born July 30, 1963, in Linden, to Billy Jack and Mary Joyce Mote. She was employed with the American Red Cross for more than 30 years, where she led the North Texas region through numerous disaster relief operations. She also received the American Red Cross top honor, the Presidential Award. She was a Christian and loved her animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Ethan Mote; and her fur babies, “Whiskers,” “Patches,” “Socks,” “Otis” and “Reeces.”
She is survived by a brother, Marc Mote and wife Gina of Atlanta; sister, Marsha Stanton and husband Barry of Pearl River, La.; nephews and niece, Adam Stanton of Vancleave, Miss., Carly Mitchell and husband Nick of Loxley, Ala., Logan Mote of Los Angeles, Calif., and Austin Mote of Atlanta; great-niece, Sophia Stanton of Vancleave, Miss.; two special friends, Mary Anna Sakovich of Fort Worth and Kim Bostick of Rowlett; and her fur baby, “Bleu.”
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene with Chaplin Joe Orr officiating. Interment followed at Pine Crest Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
