Tigers’ season ends after tough loss to Kerens

The Linden-Kildare Tigers traveled to Big Sandy to take on Kerens in the first round of the playoffs.
Even though the Tigers played with all their heart they came up short to the Bobcats by a score of, 48-20.
The Tigers played the entire night with high expectations. The team never slowed down and never gave up.
These young men left it all on the field with no regrets. L-K m,y have lost in the first round but it is a season they will never forget. This is the year that the Tigers got their pride back.
A season that changed many of these young men’s lives forever more.
A season to which they went from just friends to being group of brothers and a small community came together as a whole to support the ones they love.
These young men believed in their coaches as well as these coaches believed in these young men. The coaches were the first ones there and the last ones to leave and never gave up on these guys.
The countless hours away from their families to be with ours in hopes of embedding a positive outlook for all to see on and off the field.
These coaches have put away their pride to give our kids a sense of belief that they can do anything in this world as long as they have faith.
They are leaders in our children’s eyes. L-K has seen its share of lows in the past but as of now L-K is on a road to new beginnings.
This has been an unbelievable year for Tiger football with a minor setback for a major comeback next year.
We thank each and every one of you guys for an amazing season and can’t wait to see what the future holds for L-K.
One thing is for sure WE ARE FAMILY with Tiger Pride.
