Atlanta and Queen City High Schools kickoff Homecoming festivities

The Atlanta Homecoming Pep-Rally Parade will begin at 2 p.m. on September 22 and will boost off from Atlanta High School. 
The convoy will wrap wround and pass by Atlanta Elementary and Atlanta Primary before ending at Atlanta Rabbit Stadium for the Pep-Rally scheduled at 2:30 p.m. 
The king will be crowned at the rally.
 There will be a reception at 4 p.m. inside the Atlanta Admin. building, 106 W. Main where light refreshments will be available.
 At 5 p.m. the Homecoming “Tail-Gate” will begian. 
This is a hamburger meal provided by Guaranty Bank & Trust and AISD in front of Atlanta High School
There will be designated seating for the classes of 1962 and 1967.
 At 6:30 p.m. the Homecoming activities will begin on the track. All class members on the track will be recognized during the homecoming festivities, and there will be bleachers on the track for all class members and their spouses to sit.  
The queen will be crowned before kickoff takes place at 7:30 p.m.

Queen City
The Queen CIty Homecoming Pep-Rally Parade will begin at 9 a.m. and will start out at the Queen City Methodist Church Sept. 22.. 
The parade procession will go past Morris Upchurch Middle School and then head down Houston Street to J.K. Hileman Elementary before wrapping around to the football stadium. 
The Pep-Rally will be in the new gym after the parade has wrapped up. 
Homecoming activities will begin on the track before the game where the king and queen will be announced. 
Kickoff takes place at 7:30 p.m.
