AUDIE FLOYD WHATLEY

Audie Floyd Whatley, 79, of Bivins, went to be with the Lord Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, in a Shreveport, La., hospital.
He was born Nov. 24, 1937, in Kildare, to Henry Floyd and Gertie Hill Whatley. He was the retired owner of A. F. Whatley Construction and a member of the Vivian Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and was the comedian of the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patsy King Whatley of Bivins; two daughters, Emily Whatley of Bivins and Donna Whatley Huseth of Atlanta; a son, Kevin Whatley and wife Jennifer of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Austin Dantes, Tyler Dantes, Madison Huseth and Olivia Huseth; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Atlanta.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Faith Community Church of The Nazarene with Bro. John Ford, Bro. Arlie Kyzer, Bro. Chris Sutherland and Bro. Gary Crabtree officiating. Interment will be in Kildare Cemetery in Kildare under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Clinton Leo Sims, 75, of Queen City, died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, at CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital-Atlanta.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Queen City Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. .

Cleo Childs Abraham, 80, of Atlanta, died Friday, August 25, 2017, at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Queen City. Interment was a private service at Olive Branch Cemetery in Doddridge, Ark., under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home.
