L-K defeats Clarksville, 21-7, on the road

Linden-Kildare traveled to Clarksville last Friday night for game two of the young football season, and left town with a, 21-7, win over the other Tigers.
LaDavian Johnson scored a touchdown on the ground, Ja’Kevian Rose caught a 3-yard pass for a touchdown and Ty Patterson scored a pick-six.
Marty Johnson had 18 yards passing with a TD and gained 41 yards rushing, Rose added 49 yards on the ground and LaDavian Johnson rushed for 133 yards on 22 carries.
Traccer Henry and Marquise Jones combined for 15 yards receiving, Deuce Schuler scored a 2-point conversion and Marty Johnson was 1-for-2 on PATs.
Overall the Tigers racked up 223 yards on the ground and combined with 18 yards passing L-K had 241 total yards of offense.
This Friday, L-K hosts rival Queen City in the Cass County Clash with the game slated to begin at 7:30 p.m.
L-K leads the Cass County Clash series 2-1.
