Aug. 10, 1968 - June 11, 2017
Shannon Euclid Alderson, 51, of Hot Spring, Ark., died Sunday, June 11, 2017, in Little Rock, Ark., at the Veterans Hospital.
He was born Aug. 10, 1965, in Illinois. He was a restaurant manager.
He is survived by two sons, Steven Alderson and Eric Alderson of Hot Springs; his mother, Verna Alderson of Atlanta; two brothers, Dale Alderson of Hot Springs and Darrin Alderson and wife Angela of Grand Prairie; three sisters, Shelia Lee of Texarkana, Peggy Elder and husband Alton of Atlanta and Teresa Miller and husband Chris of Dallas.                                 
Memorial services were at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the Church of Christ in Atlanta. Interment arrangements will be private. 
Jan. 18, 1944 - June 11, 2017
Mary Sadine Williams Godwin, 73, of Atlanta, went to be with the Lord Sunday June 11, 2017, in an Atlanta nursing home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1944, in Linden, to T. G. and Margarett Williams. She was retired from Thiokol and was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she worked in the nursery. She enjoyed flower gardening, music and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jo Littlejohn; a great-granddaughter, Kailyn Page; and her grandmother, who raised her, Audrey Cheek.
She is survived by a son, David Meadows of Jasper; two daughters, Terri Loper and husband Jeremy Freeman of Queen City and Mandi Holcomb and husband Joshua of Atlanta; six grandchildren, Jesse Loper, Megan Loper, Micah Loper, Jake Meadows, Haylie Chesworth and Hayden Holcomb; six great-grandchildren, Kayle Cunningham, Kasan Loper, Jase Loper, Jesi Loper, Mason Allgor and Cathlynn Loper; a great-great-granddaughter, Miracle Cunningham; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ken Guthrie officiating. Interment followed at the Laws Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Oct. 17, 1937 - June 9, 2017
Wayland Joseph Endsley, 79, of San Marcos, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 9, 2017, at his residence. He was born Oct. 17, 1937, in Huffines. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Magnolia Endsley; and his sisters, Mary Clark and Verna Mae Powers.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two sons, Perry Joe and Waylon Dean; three sisters, Lorraine Henry of Atlanta, Margaret Thornhill of Atlanta and Faye Beach of Noble, La.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be at Saturday, June 24, at the First United Methodist Church in San Marcos. 
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial and Honor Giving, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or a charity of your choice.
Nov. 11, 1926 - June 12, 2017
Mary Peters, 90, of Cason, died Monday, June 12, 2017.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Shady Grove Christian Church. Interment followed at Shady Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs.
