BHS athletes head to state
Bloomburg seniors Andrew Runnels and Jordan Clayton are headed to the state track meet where they will represent Bloomburg High School.
They both recently competed at the regional meet where they earned their spot in the state competition. Clayton found success in the 110m hurdles earning second place. “It took me four years of hard work,” Clayton said.
Runnels sprinted to second place at the regional meet in the 100 meter dash. Runnels said, “I was pretty ecstatic when I didn’t hear my name called for third because then I knew it was either first or second.”
