Mark Epperson Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 Vice President Toni Turk at the January meeting conducted an informative workshop on telling the stories of our War of 1812 ancestors.
Atlanta-Miller Grade School recently turned on temporary lighting so that work on the inside of the school can begin to take place. Atlanta Grade School Friends is a 501c3 made up of all volunteers. DECA’s district competition was a little different this year. Atlanta DECA is part of District 6 which includes multiple schools such as Linden, Hughes Springs, Mount Pleasant, Jefferson, Mabank and Texarkana.
The 10th Annual Blue Jeans and Bling Gala will take place this Saturday, February 6, at Crossties Event Venue, located at 324 East Broad Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.
