To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Atlanta, we will be offering historical stories and photos each week throughout 2022. These articles were researched using various sources in the Atlanta Public Library and old copies of the newspaper. This third installment tells about the first businesses to open in the young town.
This last week has been a busy week for covid news. First, several area schools have had to temporarily close down due to staff shortages and disinfecting their facilities. Second, the supreme court ruled on a couple of cases, only one that will affect Cass County at this time.
