Witness Protection Program
The Witness Protection Program was formed in the late 1960s to protect very important witnesses from intimidation or retaliation before, during and after a trial in question. You’ve seen the television shows or movies where the criminals are trying to track down those set to testify against them and take them out.
The devil is trying to take us out. However he has to do it he will try it. Sometimes over and over again the same way or by different tactics.
1 Peter 5:8 – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
In the Witness Protection Program the steps to ensure the safety of the witnesses and their families include: getting new identities, being relocated and having 24hour protection.
Do you know as a child of God we are under a Holy Witness Protection Program?
In the natural you are given a new identity, new names. In Christ we are new creatures. We have new identities in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We have new names coming! We have to hold on and overcome! No matter what it looks like or what’s going on we must hold on and overcome!
Revelation 2:17 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receives it.
In the natural you are relocated to another place. In Christ we are relocated from the darkness into light.
1 Peter 2:9 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
In the natural 24-hour protection is given. In Christ we are protected always.
Proverbs 18:10 - The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous run into it, and is safe.
Those who stay near to God and His wisdom are far less likely to suffer the consequences of sin and evil. As other psalms indicate, hardship and struggle are still part of life. Difficulty in this life is to be expected, however, nothing can happen outside of God’s will and His plan.
The devil may know where we are and try to get to us because sometimes the Lord allows things but he cannot destroy us!
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
The devil can huff and puff but he will never blow our houses down. His weapons will not prosper against any Child of God especially those in His Witness Protection program!
Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
As believers in Christ, we are all called to witness and share about God’s greatness to those around us.

God’s witness protection program has never lost a case against the enemy. The only failure is if we decide to walk away from it. If you have left your first love then return and repent.
Isaiah 55:7 - Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
We are witnesses of Jesus Christ. The way we act, speak, look, and even think should reflect Him and His ways.
The enemy is going to come after us time and time again, but the Lord wants us to know that He is our safety net, He is our shield, He is our deliverer, He is our protector!
