WHERE IS IT?

WHERE

It’s April 10, 2010, and something marvelous is about to happen in Cass County. Local citizens are going to present a professional version of a broadway musical.

Everyone will be a volunteer.

Rehearsals’ have been going on now for five weeks. The director is Dub Narramore of Linden. He has a cast of neighbors and friends. They’ll have to sing, dance and tell a story. Music City Theater Texas will be filled. Tickets are going to $20 each.

The performance will be only one night Saturday, but if you still want to come you can attend dress rehearsal Friday night.

And, sure, the stars will sign autographs after the curtain goes down.

Your Where Is It? mystery question is what is this musical? Who are some of those who put it together and pulled it off? The answer with a good bit of detail floors:

The musical honors the working person and is performed with everyone on stage all of the time. No curtain opens or closes. Stage hands and musicians may wander in and out of the performance for they, too, are workers and need to be recognize “for what they do.”

The musical is being directed by Dub Narramore of Linden. The songs and persons performing them are as follows: Song: “Lovin Al,” car parking attendant, performed by Jeremy Boyce Song: “Nobody Tells Me How,” school teacher, performed by Stephanie Casteel.

Song: “I’m Just Movin,” supermarket checker, performed by Lee Ellen Benjamin.

Song: “Un Me Jor Dia Vendra,” farm laborer, Benjamin Serrano Song: “Just A Housewife,” performed by Christy Barnes.

Song: First Act Finale “If I Could Have Been,” the entire cast.

Song: “Millwork,” performed by Irene Webster.

Song: “The Mason,” performed by Bill Smith.

Song: “Brother Trucker,” performed by Lucky Boyd and Bobby Howard.

Song: “It’ An Art,” the waitress, performed by Irene Webster.
