Wait
A little four letter word with a big meaning. Wait is to stay where you are, or don’t do anything until something happens. During the recent snow storm, I couldn’t do anything about the snow, I couldn’t stop the storm, move it out, or make it go away, so I stayed right where I was until it was over. I couldn’t get out and walk in the snow, it was too deep, too cold, but look at the sunshine now! Look what God has done! I had to wait until God changed things! So I stayed where I was and waited on God to move.
Job 14:14-If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

People say it seems like they have been waiting for ever, but just hold on and know that help is on the way. If God has given you a promise, wait on it, no matter how long it takes! And in the process of waiting on the Lord, also seek him. Don’t give up, we’ve got to trust him and know that he is able to do what he said he would do.
Psalm 25:5- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation, on thee do I wait all the day. David was saying, Lord you are my salvation, my help, my keeper, and I will wait all the day long. Don’t give up, continue to wait for it.
Psalm 27:14- Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait, I say, on the Lord. Wait, I say on the Lord,, in the process of waiting, God is still moving for you, he is still working on your behalf! Look to the hills from whence comes your help, for he is God and there is none else!
People we are fighting a battle, but God says to hold on, to wait upon him, to seek his face. God brought me through many battles, but it was always at his time. He don’t give up on his children.
Proverbs 20:22- Say not thou, I will recompense evil, but wait on the Lord, and he shall save (deliver) thee. Psalm 2:5- My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from Him.
We look to him, we expect God to move for us, to help us, heal us, bless us. Wait upon him for all things!
