Two events...one night

Celebrate the arrival of summer with two fun-filled community events taking place in downtown Atlanta on Saturday, June 10th from 5-9 p.m. Steven F. Smith Memorial Cruise Night and the Atlanta Local: Summer Maker’s Market are joining together to provide both locals and visitors alike with an evening full of classic cars, live music, great food, shopping and more!

Cruise Night, presented by City National Bank, will feature regional car enthusiasts (all are welcome!) coming together in honor of the late Steven F. Smith, a beloved lifelong Atlanta resident, who was a passionate supporter of local cruise nights and the community. The band Trophy Husband from Texarkana will be cranking out classic rock tunes and entertaining the crowd all night long! Interested car owners are encouraged to join in on the fun. Cruise Night will be held along East St. with overflow on Main St.

The Atlanta Local: Summer Maker’s Market, presented by Genesis PrimeCare, will feature over 60 artisans, bakers, and makers! All items at the Maker’s Market must be handmade, homemade, or homegrown and vendors must reside within 50 miles of Atlanta (no longer accepting vendor applications). This bustling shopping experience is sure to have something for the whole family! Maker’s Market will begin at Woods Park (across from the old State Theater) and continue down Hiram St. towards East St.

A food truck court, including local favorites and cold treats, will also be located downtown in front of the Atlanta Public Library, within easy walking distance of both events. Tented seating will be available to provide shade. Stop by and grab some good grub!

Please contact the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce with any questions regarding either event at 903-796-3296.
