Tournament cancelled this year

The 10th Annual Jacob Dude Turner Memorial Scholarship Team Catfish Tournament was set this year for Sept. 26-28 at Rocky Point Pavilion, Lake Wright Patman.

Unfortunately, due to family illness they will have to postpone the event till next year. Next year’s date is set for October of 2020, so stay tuned. The Ron Watson banned is scheduled to play and they are looking for more auction items for the event.

The foundation was established in order to give back to the community in Jacob’s memory.

J.G. Tuner said the tournament is in memory of his son who always enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors and fishing.

Donations for the auction may be dropped off at the home of J.G. Turner or call him and he will be happy to pick up the items.

Turner added, all donations are accepted and appreciated.
