Threat found at Atlanta ISD by student
On Wednesday, a message was sent out to the parents at Atlanta ISD High School telling the parents that a “terroristic threat” was found on the campus. The note was turned over to the campus administration by a student. The threat referenced specific students and their families. According to the letter at the time the individual had not been identified.
According to Atlanta ISD law enforcement was notified immediately. The threat did reference specific students, and those individuals and their families were notified. Since then there will be extra security on campus.
According to the release to the parents and their safety protocols, school officials notified local and state law enforcement. The district encourages anyone with more information to call the Atlanta Police Department at 903796-7973.
