We are receiving a high volume of reports from customers about scam calls and texts claiming to be from our company.
These fraudsters may demand immediate payment, threaten service disconnection, or ask for payment by gift/ reload cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfer. Do not give them personal, bank, or account information.
What to watch for
Callers or texters demanding immediate payment or personal information Threats of immediate service disconnection Requests to pay with gift cards, prepaid/reload cards, crypto, or wire transfer Caller-provided phone numbers or links that ask you to verify or pay
How to protect yourself
Hang up if someone pressures you for immediate payment or personal info. Verify by calling the phone number printed on your bill or by visiting our official website — do not use a number the caller provides.
Real notices of disconnection are mailed or posted in your online account before any action is taken.
Never pay with gift cards, prepaid cards, or cryptocurrency to avoid disconnection.
If you’re unsure, check your account online or contact customer service using the number on your bill.
If you believe you were targeted
Report the incident to local law enforcement.
Report it to our fraud team via the contact options on our official website.
