STRAIGHT TALK

Joe Biden has been the absolute worst President of my lifetime. Donald Trump the best. I know very few Northeast Texans who would disagree with me about that point. I am rightly concerned that the United States simply cannot survive another four more years of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

In less than two weeks, Donald Trump has achieved back-to-back victories in Iowa, where he had a blowout over three Republican rivals in the first-in-the-nation caucus, and in the New Hampshire Primary where he celebrated a double-digit win over rival Nikki Haley— in the only state where she stood a fighting chance.

On February 8th, the GOP Presidential race heads to the U.S. Virgin Islands where Trump is heavily favored, and Nevada where Trump is the sole name on the ballot— which means his campaign will win all of the state’s 26 delegates.

After Nevada, the next primary is in South Carolina on February 24th where Haley served as Governor. Even so, Donald Trump has been endorsed by both of the state’s U.S. Senators—Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott, every Republican member of the state’s congressional delegation, as well as its popular Republican Governor.

Recent polls show Donald Trump enjoying a 30-point lead in the Palmetto State. Then it’s on to Michigan on February 27th, followed by a whopping 37 separate Republican primaries and caucuses in March—including Texas’ Republican Primary on March 5th, with its 161 delegates. According to polling, Donald Trump enjoys commanding leads in all of those contests.

It seems, without a doubt, that Donald Trump is our presumptive Republican nominee. Therefore, my question is, “Why should Republicans spend tens of millions of dollars and untold resources on what is now a foregone conclusion?”

Wouldn’t those resources be better utilized taking the battle straight to Joe Biden, instead of continuing the charade—being perpetrated by the leftist mainstream media, never-Trumpers, and Republicans in Name Only (RINO)—that Nikki Haley has any chance of becoming our nominee?

That’s why I am calling on Nikki Haley to do what’s best for our party and our country, and to join her counterparts like Ron DeSantis, Tim Scott, and Vivek Ramaswamey in suspending her campaign, and throwing her full support to President Trump.

Haley remaining in the race helps only one person and his name is Joe Biden.

When Republicans stand united there is nothing we cannot accomplish. In this special moment in U.S. history, it is more important than ever before for our party to rally behind our nominee and turn our entire focus on defeating Joe Biden in November. Our nation is in crisis; our border is under invasion; our families are under attack; and our freedoms are in jeopardy.

Donald Trump has won this battle! Now, let’s move forward under his banner and win! I look forward to standing with Donald Trump and helping him demolish the deep state, finish draining the swamp, and restoring our nation, making it great, once again. We must not delay. The hour is now. Our cause is just. I pray that Nikki Haley will put aside her own ambitions and do what’s best for our party, our country, and our future.

America anxiously awaits her decision.
