Spring blossoms bring pleasure
Spring. Is there a better season? Not hardly.
Maybe there is a little better time of the season. If so, it would be when spring is trying to get started. Spring flowers start coming out in their colors, even if they are a little hidden. But if one looks closely, even in one’s own yard, spring is on the way and blossoming. Tiny, but with certainty.
And so the photographer looked at his own yard this past week and found these pictures. Three buds. Dogwood, clover, tulip.
“Get close,” the photographer said to himself. So here are the three. The dogwood beginning to turn white at the front door. The tulip tree has already tossed off a great deal of its leaves. And, finally, some little white clover flowers seem part of the grass family (but the name of which is unknown to the camera man.)
One thing for sure. It’s a pleasure to look for spring blossoms. One cannot be unhappy afterwards. Spring is trying so hard to come. And humans are trying so hard to wait.
