Solley–Stewart wedding

Kaitlyn Jo Solley and Dalton Lee Stewart were united in marriage at 5:00 p.m. on June 4, 2022, at Tree Haven, Simms, Texas. The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Solley of Doddridge, Arkansas and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Stewart of Cedar Hill, Texas. Matrons of Honor were Skylar Long and Kelli Ramey, friends of the bride.

The man of Honor was Kevin Solley, brother of the bride. Bridesmaid was Mary Kate Thompson, friend of the bride. The best Man was Caleb Bowers, friend of the groom. Groom’s attendants were Scottye Storey, cousin of the groom, Jason St. John and Gabriel Gonzales, friends of the groom. Ushers were Dakota Stewart, brother of the groom, Kevin Solley, brother of the bride, and Augustus Ramey, friend of the bride. A reception at Tree Haven’s event center followed the ceremony.

For the ceremony, the bride chose a designer gown of ivory silk. Covered buttons adorned the back of the off the shoulder design from the top to the bottom of the chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of white, cream, and blush-colored roses and eucalyptus. Bridesmaids wore forest green chiffon dresses. They carried nosegay bouquets of white, pink, and cream roses and carnations. The groom chose a dark green suit. He wore a white rose boutonniere.

The groom’s attendants and the bride’s Man of Honor wore beige slacks and vests with white shirts and wore boutonnieres of blush roses. For her daughter’s wedding, the bride’s mother chose a dark green dress with a matching sheer jacket. The groom’s mother chose a gray and pick floral dress with a pink jacket.

The father of the bride wore a gray three-piece suit. The groom’s father wore a beige suit. The outdoor ceremony was held beneath a lighted pergola in front of a custom- built arch decorated with sprays of white, cream and blush roses with greenery and decorative grasses. Family rows were marked with the same grasses in green vases.

The reception hall tables were adorned with sheer ivory table runners, green garlands, and candles. After a trip to Greece, the couple will live in Terrell, Texas.
