Sold out crowd to Chamber banquet

Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual Chamber Banquet Saturday night celebrating the area’s top leaders in the Atlanta area. This year’s winners included Miranda Johnson, Woman of the Year; Terre Gaston, Educator of the Year; Adam Cox, Man of the Year; Clare Wong, Youth of the Year; and Stanco Safety Products, Business of the Year.

A sold-out crowd enjoyed the 2023 Chamber Banquet and Awards Ceremony that was held Saturday, April 1st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at a new location, Cornerstone Assembly of God Multipurpose Building, 105 W. Main Atlanta Texas.

What made this special for the chamber was that they were celebrating 75 years. According to the Chamber, “This is our Diamond Anniversary so it’s time to sparkle and shine.”

Entertainment for the evening was comedian Brent Reed, “the Heavyweight of Clean Comedy.” The event was catered by Amigo Juans and Brookshires Bakery.
