Silver Alert

On September 18 a silver alert was issued for Kathleen Spanel, a 64-year-old white female last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. She is also reported to have grey and white hair, is 5’6, 130 lbs, and has blue eyes. She was possibly walking toward Highway 77. She has hallucinations, but she is nonviolent. She walked away from home mid-morning Sunday, September 18th. Please be on the lookout in the vicinity of 1121 CR 3214 Atlanta of Hwy 77.

As of Monday, September 19 at noon, first responders, volunteers, and members of local, county, and state organizations are assisting and continue to search. Drones, helicopters, planes, and dogs have also attempted, without success, to locate the missing individual.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens, Department of Public Safety (DOS), Atlanta Police Department and Reserve officers, and other first responders are assisting Cass County Sheriff ’s department on this active search.
