Shooting in Atlanta leads police on high-speed chase to Texarkana

Four shots were fired into the window of a home on Ellington Street around 3 a.m. last Friday morning.

The occupants in the home were afraid when the bullets came through the window and immediately called the police.

That led to a high-speed chase which took police from Cass County into Bowie County.

Officers in Texarkana were alerted to the situation and were ready to intercept the suspects.

Andre Mendez Sanchez and Tashene Parker were caught by Texarkana officers and booked into Bi-State jail on drug charges, felon in possession of a firearm and a litany of other charges.

The case is still under investigation.
