Sensational celebration held on streets of Linden

Anniversaries are always a time for celebration. They herald milestones of importance in life’s journey. That is why, on Saturday, Linden was bursting with pride and joy at the celebration of the city’s Second Saturday one year anniversary.

It was a busy day on the square as the day’s festivities were kicked off with a unique car show at 10 a.m. Those in attendance were able to view antique British cars, shop local, and even grab a bite to eat. But it was the afternoon that really brought the delights.

As 4 p.m. rolled around, vendors began to set up tables around the square and shops reopened. Visitors and locals were again able to shop till they dropped and get early Christmas gifts from the wonderful and locally owned boutiques and pop-up shops.

Once patrons were all shopped out, they could grab a bite to eat at one of the delicious restaurants downtown. With tummies full and hearts overjoyed, those who helped celebrate this jubilant anniversary can truly say, this was a sensational celebration. One of family, friends, pride, and a love of Linden.
