Queen City schools get ready for 2023-24

Queen City ISD Bulldogs are chomping at the bits to make their way back to campus for the first day of school on August 10th.

Online registration began about one week ago. Following a link on Queen City ISD’s Official Facebook page, students can log into their existing accounts to register for school or check out their Official Website, qcisd. net/.

Free school physicals for athletics students will be offered this Saturday, July 29, from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. by Dr. Hozdic and Mrs. Stone with Genesis Prime Care in Atlanta. Incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th-grade students must have a physical before competing in athletics and can pick up forms at summer workouts. Parents must be present for the physicals, according to staff.

Orientation/Meet the Teacher has been scheduled for select grades as: Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten is August 7th, from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. 1st-4th graders, August 8th from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. 5th graders, August 1st, 5:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Grades 6-8, August 8th, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Grades 9-12, August 8th, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
