April 29, 11:04 p.m. Late this afternoon QUEEN CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT was notified of a shooting in the 400 block of 6th Street. Officers arrived finding a male who had been shot. The suspect was arrested, and the victim was transported to CSMH in Texarkana where he underwent surgery! Please keep all people involved in your thoughts and prayers!
April 27, 10:35 a.m. The Ashdown Police Department and some local small business owners could use your help.
We are looking to identify the individual in the pictures posted below. Last night between 12:00 am and 2:15 a.m. he decided that breaking into and destroying two very expensive laundry machines and stealing the entire change boxes from them would be a good idea. *****update***** Well, it seems that after this man destroyed and stole property from our local small business owners, he made his rounds to our citizen’s homes and broke into their vehicles. He managed to get a debit card and go on a shopping spree at a neighboring town’s Wal-Mart as well as multiple other locations before ending his long, exhausting night of thievery by purchasing breakfast and a hot cup of Joe at Starbucks.
He is also the suspect in an attempted vehicle theft in Queen City, Texas.
