Price arrested for shooting barrage
The scene was tense and scary in Linden last weekend as several shots rang out in the darkness on South Taylor Street.
Linden Police Department officers were dispatched to an area on Taylor Street around 9 p.m. after reports came in that shots were being fired which endangered multiple children.
When officers arrived on scene, they began investigating a residence they had linked with the gunfire, according to LPD. Cass County Sheriff ’s Office and Texas Highway Patrol officers also responded to the scene and a search warrant was issued so they could search the residence.
Once inside the home several firearms were found and seized.
Wrangler Price was then identified as a suspect in the shooting and he was arrested for deadly conduct, two counts of endangering a child and seven counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Price was taken into custody and booked into Cass County jail for the charges listed above.
