Preach the Truth
Paul at Ephesus....This is a certainty. Savage wolves came to wreak havoc on the flock (sheep). Be on guard for yourselves and for them. After my departure savage wolves will come in not sparing the flock and from among your own selves men will arise speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be on alert.
Acts 20:29 says...For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Matthew 10:16 says... Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Present yourselves blameless before God. Be on guard, present the truth, do not water down or sugarcoat. You will be hated for His sake. Be strong and of good courage. Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, preach truth, preach holiness.
Not outward holiness but inward holiness. We cannot water down the Gospel of Christ for approval or another’s approval. We have to be lead whole heartedly by the Holy Spirit of God.
We live in perilous times (false teachings, apostasies, changing the Gospel to fit others to justify lifestyles and sin. There is no gray area, there is no in between. You’re either for the truth or you’re not. Plain and simple.)
We are not to comfort people in their sins but confront the sin.
David Wilkerson once said....A watered down Gospel is no Gospel at all.
We cannot accommodate people and what they want to hear.
2 Peter 3:17-18 says...Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
The Church house is not a form of entertainment. The Church as a body has a mission.
This mission is preaching, speaking, teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified so that we would be reconciled back to God, blood bought, forgiven of sin so that one day we can be with God.
God said to speak His Word and His Word alone. The words He gives you, you will speak. What God speaks will always line up with the written Word of God.
Do you not know the signs of the times?
Jeremiah 30:7 says...Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacobs trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
1 Corinthians 16:13 says...Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Wolves in sheep’s clothing trying to scatter the flock, false teaching and false teachers having itching ears.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 says....Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Itching ears can be used to describe people or individuals who seek out messages and doctrines that condone their own lifestyle, as opposed to the true written Word of God.
Are you ready to go when called?
Isaiah 6:8 says...Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Where are the faithful who will preach the truth?
Psalm 91:4 He shall cover you (his children) with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth (word) shall be your shield and buckler;
The truth is in His word and if we are of God then His truth is in us because God lives in us.
We are called by God to stand for the truth and stand in the truth.
We are different because we are separated from the world.
