The Pleasant Hill (NATIONAL) Reunion

Pleasant Hill Reunion Club hosted a reunion at the Hilton Garden Convention Center Hotel in Texarkana.

They had all kinds of activities going on, games, fellowship, historical tours, a picnic, banquet, and an East Texas hoe down.

Registartion for the event was July 12, and included free time, games, fellowship, a business meeting, family introduction and a talent show.

On July 13, was the Linden Historical Courthouse, Pleasant Hill Community, church, historical school and both old and new cemeteries. A picnic was held and later that night a Unique Texas Hoe Down/ Banquet with speaker, Sharon Pruitt Haynes.

On July 14, was the last day and ended with Church Services at the Convention Center with speaker Doug Gaither. Pleasant Hill is known for their quilting club and rebuilding the old school which was a Rosenwald school and has a historical marker for the state of Texas. A lot of friends and family from all over enjoyed the event.
