Pineywoods Baggers host cornhole tourney for Bloomburg ISD First Annual Scholarship Fund event
The Pineywoods Baggers, a local cornhole organization, hosted a cornhole tournament on Saturday, Oct. 22, inside the Bloomburg ISD gymnasium.
The tourney was a Bloomburg ISD Scholarship benefit with most of the proceeds going into the scholarship fund.
Money raised for the scholarship fund was $2,350 and player payout was $2,309.
The Singles Champions was: Down Town Jeffery Brown - first place ($220), Anthony Knudson - second place ($91) and Dennis R. - third place ($55).
Switch Doubles winners: Doug White and Ricky Bobby - first place ($283), Jakob Walker and Micah W. - second place ($118) and Dylan Berney and Lil Bit - third place ($70).
Railway Equipment Service $1,000 Added BYOP: Tanner Gibson and Jakob Walker - first place ($880), Ryley Knudson and Luke Knudson - second place ($420) and Jeffrey Brown and Rodney - third place ($172).
Hunter Smith, a Bloomburg alum and NextHome Realty sales agent/broker’s associate, was in the forefront of putting the benefit together.
