Note from the publisher

Thank you for your patience with the paper over the last couple weeks. We have been in the process of hiring new people to work at the building and write for the Sun. The contributions of Rebecca Strutton will be missed. Our commitment is to continue provide a quality community-first newspaper and try to be at as many of the events as possible.

As always we look forward to making this paper better and welcome your contributions to the paper. We welcome your pictures and writing, because this is your community record. As you know my personal philosophy is that a small town newspaper is made up from community contributions, in contrast to the publisher telling you what your community should be. In my humble opinion our job is to be your voice!

Lastly I want to thank everyone who came out to the Working Women event, and those vendors who contributed to the prizes. We will have an extensive thank you in next week’s paper.
