Murder, suicide in Marietta

Deputies got a call at around 4:30 p.m. in Marietta, Texas for a welfare check.
Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe confirmed that they discovered a 46-year-old mother had been shot by her 15-year-old son, then turning the gun on himself.
According to reports the house was on Stevens Street. No additional details have been reported at this time.
