Morgan Cooper wins award in 4-H State Photography Contest

Cass County 4-H member Morgan Cooper was awarded “best in show” in the 2020 4-H State Photography Contest.

This year senior level 4-H members submitted 1452 entries from all over the state of Texas in this competition.

The photo she placed “best in show” with was in the “Theme” category.

The 2019-2020 theme is “The Elements”.

This category must contain one of the 4 elements: earth, air, water, or fire.

Photos can include a combination of one or more elements, but the element(s) itself must be the focal point of the photo.

Morgan’s photograph was of the center of a fire.

Morgan entered eight photographs in the competition, with three of them placing blue.

One of these was the photograph that went on to be awarded best in show.

Morgan is a member of the Cass County Hope 4-H and the Cass County Champion 4-H club.

She is a senior level 4-H member and also participates in 4-H with her veterinary science and livestock projects.
