Atlanta’s J. E. Manning American Legion Post 258 will lead memorial services 10 a.m. Monday at Veterans Plaza corner in downtown Atlanta. The public is encouraged to attend.
Memorial Day is the federal holiday which honors and mourns U. S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. It is observed on the last Monday in May.
