Magnolia Grey Trading Co. grand opening

Tristen Owens isn’t someone you would describe as ordinary. With her cheerful and bubbly personality, she brings an infectious joy to the room. She has a love of small towns and small business that radiates within the wall of her newly opened and second retail location of Magnolia Grey Trading Co.

Tristen opened her first location in Vivian, Louisiana, in 2018 at the young age of 21. Now, at the age of 23, she has cut the ribbon on her second location in Queen City. The celebration kicked off at 11:30 a.m. on July 31 with members of the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce, friends and family to help her celebrate the special day with yummy treats and shopping.

When asked why she chose Queen City for Magnolia Grey Trading Co., she said it was because of its small-town charm. As for her support of other local, small businesses, Tristen said her driving force is supporting these businesses, and that giving as well as receiving that support is always a blessing. Having someone so young realize this importance is even more so.

Magnolia Grey Trading Co. is located on Hickory St. in Queen City directly behind Cass County Bank. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
