Louisiana woman missing from neighboring Texarkana

Texas Police Department is searching for a missing Louisiana woman who was last seen in the area in January.

Shawn Vaugh, TTPD spokesman said the family of Margaret Barrett, 37, is worried about her safety.

“We need some help locating Margaret Barrett,” Vaughn said. “Her family in Louisiana has neither seen nor heard from her since late January, and they are extremely worried about her safety.”

Vaughn said police are certain she was in Texarkana on January 20th.

“But (we) can’t find any trace of her since then,” he added.

Police said Barrett is 5 ft tall and weighs about 120 pounds.
