This year Bloomburg ISD’s elementary principal, Silvia Stroman, blessed each and every one of her elementary students with gifts. She works hard no matter the amount of time spent to ensure that the students and teachers of Bloomburg Elementary get only the best. This year she decided to purchase and wrap a gift for EVERY student. She then delivered those gifts at night to each classroom just like Santa. It was something that meant so much to her being able to give every child a perfectly wrapped gift for the holidays. This is what a leader, principal and true educator looks like. Serving kids and impacting a small rural school known as “Bloomburg ISD”.

Queen City HS students, Chauncett Miles, Clare Wong, Karlee Sullivan, and Makayla Robertson were at Texarkana, Ark., Wal-Mart last week helping out with Festival of Stars where more than 4,000 toys were collected. Festival of Stars is Arkansas Children’s statewide annual toy and donation drive. New toys and gifts help make the holidays brighter for Arkansas Children’s patients and families.
