Genealogical Society meeting, Feb 9
The membership meeting of the Cass County Genealogical Society will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023. At our February meeting for Black History Month we will have a presentation by Raydeen Edwards about the many Black Schools in Cass County prior to the Civil Rights Movement. You don’t want to miss this interesting and informative program.
The meeting will start at 12:00 noon, lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. and the program will start at 1:00 p.m., and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us for this program, and please feel free to bring a friend. The meeting will be held in our usual location, The Fellowship Hall of The Methodist Church of Queen City at Marietta and Fourth Streets, Queen City, Texas.
As always we will serve a light meal and beverages and the public is always invited.

The Unity District Baptist Association will sponsor their Scholarship Pre-Valentine Tea on February 11, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Enon First Missionary Baptist Church, Atlanta, Texas. Rev. Dr. A.C.
