LEDC’s Small Business Workshop is today

Doing something one loves and has a passion for, bring joy to the community are wonderful reasons to drop the nine to five and open a small café or boutique. There is, however, so much more to owning a small business than passion and that joy. Everything from inventory control, to taxes, and even networking properly are keys to opening and running a successful business.

That is why today, the LEDC will be hosting its second Small Business Workshop. This workshop will feature speaker Tim Wilson, the director of the Northeast Texas Small Business Development Center. Wilson will speak about business models, business plans, and implementation strategies, all key ingredients in a successful business. This workshop will also give those in attendance the opportunity to network with other small business owners in the area. The meeting begins at noon at the County Seat Café in downtown Linden with lunch being served.
