JESUS

There are a lot of questions today concerning the trials and difficulties of this world. In the midst of chaos, tragedies, and uncertainties I believe there are a lot of people looking for answers. I know for certain there is an answer to all of these things. There is an old gospel song that says, “Jesus is right for whatever is wrong in your life”. No truer words have ever been penned.

In Acts chapter two, about one hundred and twenty people have assembled in the upper room waiting to be endued with power from on high. For ten days they prayed, sought God and the disciple Peter preached. The focus of his message was Jesus.

When a crowd came in to the upper room to see of the noisome activities when the power of the Holy Spirit filled the believers; the question was asked by onlookers, “What meaneth this?” Once again Peter preached a message and the key focus of that message was Christ and Him crucified, he preached Jesus.

When the power of God healed the lame man in Acts chapter three with Peter and John; once again people came to see what it was all about. And once again Peter preached Jesus died on a cross and risen from the dead.

I am still convinced that the message people need to hear today, is Jesus. Jesus born of a virgin Mary, lived a spotless life, died a vicarious death, rose again from the dead, and is one day soon returning. And he really can wash your sins away. Jesus is still the answer!
