It’s Harvest Time

How many realize that the harvest is ripe, but what are we doing about it? Where are the laborers?

It’s time for Gods people to go forth and reap the harvest.

Genesis 8:22- While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

At all times, there is a harvest we need to be reaping.

Souls crying, they need help. A lot of people don’t realize that they need help, but we can see this world is dying.

And it’s time to go forth. As long as there is a harvest, we need to be reaping.

Isaiah 16:9- Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah, I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh, for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.

The Lord says “I will weep because the harvest is fallen”, there’s no one to reap it, no one going forth. We stay in our ceiled houses, and stay in our churches, and we are not going forth into the highways and the byways, and we are not reaping in this day and hour.

Gods people need to realize that harvest time is now.

Jeremiah 8:20- The harvest is past, the summer is ended and we are not saved.

In this world, the summer is almost over, but God is talking about a spiritual summer, that’s coming to an end, and so many are not saved, people are not crying out to God.

People are not seeking God. People are not turning their heart to God.

Jeremiah 51:33-For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, the daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor, it is time to thresh her, yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

A threshing floor is where the wheat is separated from the chaff, God is in the threshing business.

If you don’t pick the fruit off the tree at the right time, the fruit will fall off and rot. Souls are falling by the wayside because Gods people aren’t picking the fruit.

Matthew 9:37-Then said he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest. Souls are crying, souls are dying. Many in this day and time need salvation, where are the reapers.

Psalm 126:5- They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
