Introducing Hometown Proud

There is a lot to be proud of in the area of Cass County. The people are friendly, the businesses growing, and the events held throughout the year are ones to be remembered. This is why the Journal will be featuring a new section in the paper called Hometown Proud. This new section is meant to showcase people, events, and businesses that really make the area of Cass County special and unique.

Always something going on in the town of Linden, it stands as the county seat and it’s easy to see why. Between Saturday block parties and a new water tower, Wildflower Trails and a growing library, and the businesses that keep the town thriving, it’s no surprise that Linden stands as a testament to the success of Cass County.

However, Linden is not the only town deserving of the spotlight. Atlanta, Queen City, and Bloomburg have a lot to offer the community as well. Downtown Merchants of Atlanta, Cullen Baker Fair, and the Maker’s Market continue to showcase the talent, creativity, and success of local residents and businesses. From locally-owned restaurants to football teams, Right Patman Lake and Atlanta State Park, there is always something new to discover and experience.

The Journal is looking for those interested in showcasing what makes them Hometown Proud, whether it be an upcoming event, someone in the community, or a business. For more information, please contact Shawn Larson at shawn@casscountynow.com.
