Hughes Springs Ford dealership announces impending sale

Dewey Moore Ford of Hughes Springs, a Texas General Partnership and local Ford Dealer, today announced the impending sale of its dealership properties and other assets to the Vanguard Auto Group of Austin, Texas.

For over 65 years, the Dewey Moore family has served the Hughes Springs and East Texas area with Ford products and other services, operating in the early years as Moore & Harmon Motors and in recent years as Dewey Moore Ford. The closing of the transaction is expected to occur as of the close of business on Tuesday, November 30th and Vanguard Ford of Hughes Springs to begin operations on December 1, 2021.
