H&R Block East Texas Franchisees recognized among more than 1,000

Kristy, Keith and Robert Thieman, who operate H&R Block franchise offices in Atlanta, Gilmer, Hughes Springs, Lindale, Mineola, New Boston, Texarkana, and Winnsboro, stood out from nearly 1,300 franchisees, winning recognition from H&R Block (NYSE: HRB) for their client-centric focus and a small business owner entrepreneurial spirit.

Winning in the office size category of more than eight offices, Kristy, Keith and Robert Thieman have been H&R Block franchisees beginning in 2011.

Kristy was also an H&R Block field leader for the company for 15 years prior to joining as a franchisee. A family affair, both Robert and Kristy are Enrolled Agents, the highest level of credentials awarded by the IRS providing unlimited practice rights.

The Thiemans operate 10 offices and employ 70 people. Over the years, their offices have supported nonprofits across 17 rural communities including Faith Mission, YMCA, Winnsboro Food Pantry, Winnsboro Center for the Arts, Friends of the Winnsboro Animal Shelter, Community Resource Center, Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center, Veterans Homeless Shelter, Hughes Springs Public Library, and Randy Sams Outreach Shelter in Texarkana.

Winners were selected from among top franchisees who led business performance and client satisfaction. In addition to leading top-performing franchises, Featured Franchisees of the Year showcased community involvement, leadership, brand ambassadorship qualities and resiliency.

This year, honorees were recognized during the company’s virtual annual convention. They received a commemorative crystal award, monetary award, and a signed, framed letter from H&R Block President and CEO Jeff Jones. The Featured Franchisees of the Year awarded to the Thiemans is part of more than 64 years of tradition of H&R Block.
