Holloway nabbed for failure to report as sex offender
The Hughes Springs Police Department released a statement concerning a wanted subject out of Cass County on Tuesday, March 24.
According to the Hughes Springs PD, Travion Holloman was previously convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child but failed to comply with annual sex offender registration requirements.
A warrant for Holloman was issued in July 2025 out of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office for the failed compliance. Holloman also had additional outstanding warrants from several counties for probation violation related to the sexual assault case, possession of marijuana and evading arrest.
On March 4, the Hughes Springs Police Department contacted the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division (DPS CID) to assist in locating Holloman.
DPS Homeland Security Division, the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Apprehension Task Force worked with DPS CID to locate Holloman.
Holloman was arrested on Friday, March 20, in Tyler.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Apprehension Task Force took Holloman into custody without incident the statement said.
