Genealogical Society meeting is Dec. 10

The Cass County Genealogical Society meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Tuesday, Dec. 10 will be our annual Christmas Party with a potluck dinner, door prizes, a short program by George Frost about Myreline Bowman and the Myreline Bowman Award, a raffle for an afghan quilt, and lots of fun and great fellowship. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us for this interesting and informative monthly meeting in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Queen City, located on the corner of Marietta and Fourth Streets. This is a potluck dinner so bring a covered dish, we will furnish the turkey, ham, and beverages and, as always, the public is invited. For more information please call 903-796-3081.
