Genealogical society to meet

The Cass County Genealogical Society meeting is Thursday, July 14, 2022.

At this meeting C.C.G.S. Member Pat Tomberlain will talk about the legacy of W. B. Sheppard and the establishment of Wheatville in Northeast Morris County. You don’t want to miss this interesting and informative program as Pat always does a wonderful job of presenting his knowledge of fascinating historic facts.

The meeting will start at 12:00 noon, lunch will be served at 12:30 pm and the program will start at 1:00 pm, and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us for this program, and please feel free to bring a friend. The meeting will be held in our usual location, The Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Queen City at Marietta and Fourth Streets, Queen City, Texas.

As always we will serve a light meal and beverages and the public is always invited.
