Focused on the Holiday Spirit
While the Christmas spirit could certainly be felt all throughout Linden. With holiday shoppers breezing from shop to shop, getting last minute gifts, and the beautiful Christmas lights a decorations that adorned the square and many homes, one could certainly feel the holiday flowing all around town.
But, the real spirit of Christmas was felt and celebrated all during the month of December at Focused Care of Linden. Visitors who came bearing gifts to residents and carolers who sang of Christmas cheer, all brought smiles to residents.
Carolers came and sang for residents on Christmas Eve. The VFW Women’s Auxiliary brought goody bags for residents on Christmas day and even gifted the veterans with special plaques. Linden-Kildare fourth grade writing class sent cards for the residents to receive on Christmas morning. Residents made ugly Christmas shirts to celebrate Ugly Christmas Sweater day. Even Santa got in on the fun, having cookies with the residents. Indeed, it was a very blessed and holiday filled December at Focused Care of Linden.
