First Baptist Kicks for Christmas

Laces of Grace

First Baptist Church of Atlanta sponsored the 5th Annual Kicks for Christmas Event on Dec. 14. Matt and Corey Graves, with the help and guidance of the Laces of Grace organization started a program that provides children Birth-18 years of age with a Christmas gift of a pair of shoes. Their mission is to spread the love of Christ through this gift to the children in our community. The event brought in a steady stream of families who were blessed through the service of the volunteers who would individually fit each of the kids. In a separate room there were caps that people could pick up, made and donated by the churches knitting group.
